Pineapples are a prime ingredient for cocktail garnishes, especially during summer time. A pineapple garnish is the easiest way to transport your cocktails to a tropical destination.

You can make a variety of different pineapple cocktail garnishes in all shapes and sizes. Today we’re going to learn how to make pineapple into the shape of a star for cocktails.

The main thing I love about this garnish is that it’s so incredibly easy to make.

This post is all about this pineapple garnish: Pineapple Stars

Star Shaped Cookie Cutters: I got mine from Walmart with several different sizes but here is a similar one from Amazon

How to make the Pineapple Stars Garnish

First we need to cut slices from a pineapple.

Place the pineapple on the cutting board on its side. Then using your knife, cut 1 inch thick pineapple disks perpendicular to the board.

Pick out which sizes of the stars you want to use for your garnishes. I picked the middle three star sizes for mine.

Next, place the star cookie cutters on top of the pineapple disks and press down into the pineapple to cut the shape.

Pop out the pineapple stars from the cookie cutters, and tada you have pineapple stars!

All that’s left is to cut a small incision where you want the pineapple to sit on your cocktail glass and your all set.
