thanksgiving drink ideas

This Thanksgiving drink is a must-try this holiday season!

One of my favorite dishes during Thanksgiving is candied yams and I thought it would be a cool idea to incorporate this traditional Thanksgiving staple of candied yams into a drink.

I figured the sweet flavors of candied yams would pair well with coffee so it was a no-brainer to use these flavors in an Espresso Martini style cocktail.

The extra cherry on top that makes this cocktail really stand out is the toasted marshmallow cold foam layer on top. And trust me this drink is incomplete without the toasted marshmallow cold foam!

This cocktail has flavors of yam, marshmallow, coffee, and walnut with a cognac base.

Without further or do, lets make this yummy Candied Yam
Espresso Martini!

Toasted Marshmallow cold foam

When it comes to making the cold foam there isn’t a real measurement for both the ingredients because it kind of just depends on how much of the foam you want on top of your espresso martini. The measurements below are just rough estimates.

In a shaking tin

Toasted marshmallow syrup

Heavy cream

Shake with two ice cubes until you hear that the ice is almost dissolved. This will ensure that the consistency will be light and thin enough to float on top of the cocktail later.
