Ever since I was a kid and heard the magical song “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy,” I’ve always wondered what sugar plums actually taste like.
Admittedly, I still didn’t know what they were until writing this blog post. To my surprise, there are no plums involved in sugar plums and apparently sugar plums are actually just candies shaped like a plum with a sugar coating.
Although I was a bit disappointed finding out that information, I still made it my goal to create a Christmas cocktail using my original idea of what sugar plums are.
So, I made this cocktail using real plums and sugar, and I figured grapefruit and cranberry would be a nice pairing as well.
This cocktail is so delicious I kid you not I drank 3 of them in the same night!
This Sugar Plum Fairy Paloma is ✨addicting✨ so let’s go ahead and learn how to make it!
