sweet and sour mix for drinks

This post is all about how to make sweet and sour mix for cocktails and mocktails.

Instead of adding a sweet syrup and citrus separately into a cocktail recipe, you can substitute both those ingredients with just sweet and sour.

When bartending professionally behind a high volume bar, time = money.

Speed and efficiency is a skill that all bartenders need to possess to be able to provide good customer service.

Especially when you work in a busy nightclub environment. As a bartender you may be faced with a lot of customers flocking your bar so you need to be able to make drinks fast.

Nightclub environments are most likely to use sweet and sour mix when making cocktails for this reason, because it’s basically a cheat code to make cocktails faster.

Making cocktails with sweet and sour allows for only one motion when adding ingredients to a cocktail instead of two.

You can definitely find sweet and sour mix at any liquor store, however I always preach that fresh is best.

Plus making sweet and sour is incredibly easy so let’s learn how to make it from scratch!
