For Valentine’s Day, I wanted to create a cocktail that wasn’t a copy cat of any other Valentines themed cocktail.
I wanted this drink to be completely unique and stay away from the typical flavors of strawberries, chocolate and champagne.
When making this drink, I thought to myself, “What is something that automatically makes me think of Valentines day?”
Immediately, I remembered the cute multicolored conversation heart candies that I loved so much as a kid. It gives me instant nostalgia to a simpler adolescent time.
Now I’ll be honest, I don’t love the taste of the conversation heart candies but I think their little messages are absolutely adorable. So, when making this cocktail I just wanted to recreate the ✨essence✨ of the candies, and I think I succeeded!
This cutesey and demure Valentine’s cocktail has beautiful flavors of gin, apricot, peach and lemon. It’s super simple to make and wonderfully festive for the holiday.
