I think if there was a bar in the land of Oz, this cocktail would be wicked popular!

I’ve been a big fan of Wicked for many many years. Out of excitement for the new movie coming out, I created two cocktails, one themed after Glinda the good witch of the north and one for Elfaba the wicked witch of the west.

This drink is called Glinda’s Popular Potion. My main goal was to make this cocktail pink but I was also inspired to make it light and airy since Glinda usually shows up in a bubble.

The delicious flavors of this cocktail include strawberry, rose, lemon, and vanilla. It is a perfectly balanced cocktail of citrus and sweetness.

Honestly this cocktail turned out better than I had originally anticipated, so you gotta give it a try!

So let’s go ahead and make this fabulous cocktail, Glinda’s Popular Potion!

Here’s my Elphaba cocktail!

Glinda’s Wicked Popular Potion

In a shaking tin

1 strawberry muddled

1 oz simple syrup

1 oz lemon juice

1 egg white

2 oz vanilla vodka

3 dashes rose water (I used Fee Brothers brand)

Dry shake

Shake with ice

Strain into a martini or coupe glass

Garnish with dried rose petals
