In celebration of the new Beetlejuice movie that came out recently, I created this fantastic green halloween cocktail called the Beetlejuice Sour.
I felt that the perfect cocktail to encapsulate the vibe of Beetlejuice was one that involved the colors green, black, and white.
Thankfully I was able to achieve this aesthetic by basing this drink off of a Midori Sour. I went with a traditional sour style cocktail build with the use of egg white to bring the white color, midori of course to bring the green element, and a luxardo cherry and angostura bitters to bring the black element.
Since the melon was the main flavor I wanted to shine in this cocktail, I added other flavors to bring a floral component like elderflower, lime, and gin.
To sum it up this cocktail pretty much has all the best qualities for a cool halloween drink, and I think it’s definitely worth giving a try this season.
