During the fall season, I turn into a pumpkin spice chai latte girly through and through.
Call me basic, but it truly is the best pick me up to start my morning. And when I’m feeling extra sleepy I’ll upgrade it to a dirty chai latte.
There’s just something about smelling and tasting those beautiful warm fall spices that makes me feel like I’m the star in a Hallmark movie every morning.
Since I was a child, I’ve had a deep love and connection for all things Snoopy and the Charlie Brown gang, so it’s only fitting that this delicious latte would pay tribute to the film “It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown.”
This pumpkin spice chai latte recipe isn’t like other recipes because I decided to top it off with a toasted marshmallow cold foam to give it extra camp snoopy vibes.
So let’s learn how to make this great pumpkin spice chai latte!
toasted marshmallow cold foam
Firstly we will be making the toasted marshmallow cold foam.
In a cup
1 tablespoon toasted marshmallow syrup. (I have a tutorial on how to make this toasted marshmallow syrup here)
2 tablespoons of milk or milk alternative
3 tablespoons of heavy cream
Whisk this up with a milk frother.
When the foam is at your desired texture set it to the side and start building the chai latte.
The Great pumpkin spice Chai latte
In a shaking tin add a barspoon of pumpkin puree
2 dashes non alcoholic black walnut bitters
5 oz of chai concentrate
Shake
Then pour this mixture into your cup of choice. I’m using a 16 oz glass.
Add ice
Then add 2 oz of milk
1 shot of espresso (made from the starbucks pumpkin spice coffee blend)
And finally top it with your marshmallow cold foam
As a last touch, garnish with pumpkin spice.
I hope you enjoy this pumpkin spice and marshmallow dirty chai latte.
Cheers!
