To celebrate the holiday of love, I took a classic Espresso Martini and spinned it into a Valentines cocktail.
My favorite ice cream as a child were the strawberry shortcake ice cream bars. Since strawberries are often associated with valentine’s day, I figured turning this beloved ice cream into a cocktail would be pretty cool.
AND going off of things I loved as a child, I also loved drinking the little Starbucks strawberries and cream iced coffees I would get from the grocery store (which unfortunately I think they no longer exist).
So, since knowing strawberries and coffee already go well together, it just made sense to use an Espresso Martini recipe as the inspiration to go off of for this Valentines cocktail.
This Strawberry Shortcake Espresso Martini is so absolutely delectable and really just one of the best festive drinks you can sip on for Valentine’s Day.
So let’s learn how to make this amazing cocktail!

strawberry cold foam
When it comes to making the cold foam there isn’t a real measurement for both the ingredients because it kind of just depends on how much of the foam you want on top of your espresso martini. The measurements below are just rough estimates.
In a shaking tin
1 1/2 oz heavy cream
1/2 oz strawberry syrup
Shake with 2 ice cubes until you hear that the ice is almost dissolved. This will ensure that the consistency will be light and thin enough to float on top of the cocktail later.
